ORA COLLECTION

To develop Ora tableware, Sango collaborated with the world-renowned Studio Levien in London, with extensive research and in-depth design work, the result was ORA – a full range of tableware in a resilient high-alumina ceramic body and sustainable Acacia woodware.
The brief to Studio Levien was for a distinctive organic design. The result is ORA which is Latin for beach or shoreline. Taking inspiration from sea washed pebbles a theme which is reflected across the whole item range.

JAVA COLLECTION

At Sango Ceramics, we have a cutting-edge approach to design and manufacturing technology. Many of our processes are highly mechanised to achieve the necessary volumes and quality required in all markets.
However, markets also demand designs which require more input from our large team of artisans bringing hand-made skills to the process. All coloured glazes are hand-applied by a highly trained and skilled workforce who are also involved and encouraged to develop new ideas and effects. Many of the current products have been developed in this way and this will continue to be the case.

COMPANY SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

At Sango, we take social responsibility very seriously. During the current Covid-19 pandemic in Central Java, we have been working very closely with local government and have provided more than hundred thousands of masks, ten thousands of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for hospitals and front-line workers, also tons of rice for community in Central Java.

Sango believes it is the duty of all large employers in the region to collectively ensure that all employees are protected from the virus as much as possible while undertaking their working duties and also support their local communities and healthcare establishments in any way they can.
